"In the wake of No"
I said no, to the phantom in front
A tentative no that lingers with brunt
Amidst the act ,’no’ remained a faint whisper,
Unheard and unseen
A deed, spun from the thread of a man’s privilege.
Is it my own body to sense, or theirs to discern?
The agony she endured cannot be explained
Yet it continued to ensue her, under a veil of disgust
The purpose of existence seemed to be in vain
Never descend into the abyss of their madness
You are not to blame , now nor evermore.
